2019 was a busy year for Heathhall Business Centre – particularly for tenant Galloglas Security and Logistics Ltd at 213 Spitfire Road. Galloglas has grown and expanded with a wider product and service range, and CEO Richie Nicoll has recruited Sales and Office Manager Campbell Young to take the business forward in 2020 and the coming years. We met up with Campbell recently to find out more about his role with the company.
Campbell joined Galloglas in July 2019, from a corporate coaching background. His role as Galloglas Sales and Office Manager was created to develop the potential of Galloglas and to expand the range of services offered to existing and new customers.
New Services for 2020
“I previously worked with The Coverdale Organisation where I was a corporate coach working with blue chip companies including ASDA Logistic Services, Whitbread, Costa Coffee. I’m delighted to be a part of Galloglas’ future. Our ambitions are to grow the business significantly in the next 3-5 years, and to launch a range of new and innovative services in 2020.”
“Our mission here at Galloglas is to enable our clients to achieve a safer, cost-effective and carbon efficient workforce whilst also protecting their commercial and domestic assets. Galloglas offers hard and soft services: hard services relate to the physical fabric of the building. They ensure the safety and welfare of employees and generally are required by law – for example plumbing, heating and building maintenance. Soft services make the workplace more pleasant or safer to work in.”
Training plays a key role in Galloglas’ offering:
“Through our ‘Training and Technology’ project management, we can implement both Telematics and Driver Training that works hand in hand to help the company’s staff become not only better drivers, but more efficient drivers.”
Reducing Carbon Footprint
By implementing Galloglas training and technology, clients could reduce their carbon footprint by a massive 20% – and that’s before the switch to electric or hybrid vehicles. The Galloglas team is also proud to be the only company in Scotland able to offer fully accredited IVV Diamond electric vehicle driver training via their partners.
Domestic and Commercial
Many of Galloglas current products and services can be applied to both domestic and commercial markets. From CCTV and Alarms Systems including heat, carbon monoxide, smoke, and leaks, to home alarms for the elderly at home, and for nurses and lone workers. Their industry standard driver training can also be booked by non-commercial clients and individuals striving to become a better overall driver.
Galloglas can be contacted at their Head Office at 213 Spitfire Road or by phone 01387 257807.
