What a busy year it’s been at Heathhall Business Centre and we’d like to thank each and every one of you for you custom, loyalty, and voting with your feet. Here’s a wee round-up of some of the highlights from over the past year in our 2022 review.
New tenants at Heathhall Business Centre in 2022
Our roster of new tenants is always expanding and three businesses that made Heathhall their home in 2022 were Queensberry Event Hire, Whale & Bird and James Frew Ltd.
Back at the turn of the year, Whale & Bird took on unit W157B – one of the old Sign Craft Signs Limited spaces. Originally from south west England, Jamie MacDonald and partner Mary Harris head up this quirky illustrated cards, gifts, and stationery business.
Hot on their heels, came Queensberry Event Hire that took office space at unit 19c to accommodate their burgeoning business that was in the prior to largely run from a warehouse on the family farm.
Arthur at Corona IT encouraged owners William Duncan and wife Sophie to take a unit at Heathhall because he just loved operating his business from the Centre, and continues to do so after taking on another unit.
Back in March we profiled James Frew Ltd now occupies the former Caledonian VetPhys workspace at 3 Spitfire Road at Heathhall Business Centre, and this is a company that has some serious business credentials: 100-plus employees, over 150 clients, and it’s been in business since 1911!
They took on a unit at Heathhall Business Centre to coordinate the Dumfries division of the operation.
Dumfries Self Storage
In our blog later on in the year we highlighted some of the benefits of student storage and taking the stress out of summer rather than them rocking up at mum and dad’s with all the belongings they left with plus a load more in tow!
And don’t forget that Dumfries Self Storage is the best caravan storage facility for motorhomes and boats, and a Silver Award CaSSOA Approved (Caravan Storage Site Owners’ Association) one at that!
Dumfries MOT
Finally, we were delighted to announce that Dumfries MOT Centre was open and trading again after moving to a new and fully equipped workshop, and is now taking bookings from individuals and businesses, so time to get in touch if yours is due.
